Do you drive worse when the cops are behind you?

I think I drive worse too. I know that I normally do about 5 over the speed limit and when they get behind me I try to stay as close to it as possible. I've come to discover though, it really doesn't matter how I drive when they are behind me so I just try to ignore them. As long as I know I didn't do anything wrong, I just try to drive normally.
