Can you believe ABC caved in to the Clintonites?

Not a surprise, I know, as the liberal media reign in again! The upcoming ABC special "Path to 9/11" is said to include a segment that faults President Clinton for weakening the U.S. and missing opportunities to deal with Islamofascists when it was much easier than when President Bush inherited this dangerous situation we are in. The Clintons and supporters have demanded that ABC edit that segment out. This morning a report says that ABC caved in.

I may not agree with everything that President Bush has done, but the Clintonites certainly criticise President Bush, and applaud the misleading Michael Moore and company from releasing negative attacks on President Bush, but they can't take any criticism about their beloved president? This is absurd and a classic case of double-standards. Outrageous! Absolutely outrageous!

I thought that the Democrats are champions of freedom of speech. I guess I was wrong!

Update:

For those who continue to write that no facts exists that President Clinton weakened the U.S. are denying the truth. Has everyone forgotten about the 1st terror attack on the World Trade Center, or the attacks on U.S. interests, or the attack on the Cole? These all happened under President Clinton who chose not to deal with Islamofascist threats when it was much easier to do so under his administration.

I certainly don't like everything that President Bush has done, but the reality is that he inherited this dangerous situation from his predecessor. The 2nd terror attack on the World Trade Center was years in the making. There is no denying that. I voted for Clinton, I must admit, but in retrospect, though his presidency was marked by good economy, he has done very poorly with defense and protection of U.S. interests. Even Clinton's FBI director has repeatedly said that Clinton has weekend the FBI and CIA.

Update 2:

For all those writing and saying the Clinton had nothing to do with 9/11, I would encourage you to re-read the 9/11 Commission Report. Start on page 339, a chapter called "Foresight -- and Hindsight." Page 340 - 342 strongly discusses the numerous reports and intelligence gathering under Clinton administration (specifically 1993 - 1999) and warning that the Clinton Administration chose to disregard, and enjoy the prosperity in the economy during that time rather than look ahead and deal with a growing threat in its diaper stages.

I voted for Clinton both times, and in retrospect, aside from good economy, he sacrificed and undermined our security, mostly because he didn't want to agitate the balance of his presidency, and avoid dealing with Islamofascism.

Wow, you said "islamfascists." Haha, you get that from the "new conservative dictionary?"

Anyway, I agree to a degree that censorship sucks and all. I do remember conservatives crying so much about that Reagan docudrama that CBS actually pulled it and refused to air it. Now THAT's censorship.

This Clinton thing, as they've said, is a dramatization and most of it they admit is just speculation and conjecture anyway. I'm sure it'll be interesting but I do question the accusation that the Clinton administration is responsible for 9/11; or least any more so than Bush, Bush Sr. or Reagan.

Anyway, they just pulled one scene about not capturing Bin Laden when presented with the opportunity. ABC admits that they have no proof that the scene in question was true and had no qualms in changing it simply because American's believe what they see on television in dramas rather than just reading a newspaper once in a while.

No conservative should be whining about censorship either... if you had it your way, everything would be censored. TV would suck, books would be burned and movies would all have Christian themes. (I agree the preceding paragraph is a blanket statement that has no truth or relevance; I'm just playing the conservatives at their own game).

Really? Well, how come those threats to security were so imminent during Clinton's years and not the weeks before the attack when a report on PRES. BUSH's DESK clearly stated possible threat involving hijacking and the use of plains against civilians? How much more clear did Bush need it to be? Oops, I forget Bush does not read.... I take it back! Bush has never taken ANY responsibility for any of his mistakes, NEVER NEVER NEVER.... and that is shameful from a president, any public figure or anyone that claims to be a "man."

I can believe it - after all ABC is a left leaning media outfit. I truly wish the director would take his film to another network that is not afraid of the Clintonites!!

The movie also portrays the Bush administration negatively BUT you don't hear the whining coming from them like the Clinton Camp.

I think that the propaganda piece, "Path to 9/11" should be shown in it's entirety AFTER the November elections. It is obvious that this cheesy manipulated pile of crap was created and funded by the the right-wing to sway the electorate (not all that sophisticated to begin with) to vote for candidates who support the Bush regime's rape of America. That ABC would participate in such a sham seems to indicate that they have either been intimidated or infiltrated by the fascist elements trying to totally control America for their own benefit.

The trouble with Americans, and for that matter a lot of other nations, is they cannot and will not, see the wood for the trees. Documented and verifiable fact mean absolutly f*ck all to these people. It is not in thier interests to accept blame, and nobody is powerfull enough to make them.
