How long should it take for someone to know if they want to marry you or not?

Ha!!Depends on the person.Some people just KNOW IT right away.Some idiots....sorry,I meant other people,takes them years and years!!I dont know what they are looking for.Either its there,or its not!My parents knew each other 3 months before they got married and they have been together 40 years and still in love and happy!My husband and I 1 year before we got married....I dont know why people procrastinate the process..its actually worse when you wait too long.I know most couple that got married after being a couple for years and years are all divorced today,,,,GO FIGURE!

After a year you should know...coz you dont wanna rush and marry someone and when you live with them the real person comes out and you realized you made a mistake? like they say ,people always have a mask on at the begging of a realtionship ,when the mask comes off then decide if you want to marry them or not...

6 months to start thinging about it, 9 months to make sure 12 mouths to ask and 1 year of engament

that is what I did, but I was 29 going on 30

worked for me. It goes back to when you know you know. that is why young people 18 - 22 should not even think about it. because in these ages nothing is really sure

It would be so much easier if everyone worked in precisely the same way, but they do not. Every man is different. I have a friend who proposed after 6 months. I popped the quesiton after 4 years.

GETTING MARRIED IS A BIG COMMITMENT . MAYBE HE/SHE WANTS TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE THE ONE THEY WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF THEIR LIFE WITH. MAYBE THEY NEED TIME TO DECIDE WEATHER OR NOT THE BOTH OF YOU ARE MATURE ENOUGH TO BE MARRIED. THERE IS A LOT TO THINK ABOUT WHEN YOU GET MARRIED . IF HE/SHE DOESNT KNOW IF THEY WANT TO MARRY YOU THEN THAT IS OBVIOUS YOU HAVENT BEEN TOGETHER LONG ENOUGH TO BE COMMITTED RIGHT NOW! JUST GIVE IT TIME WHATS MEANT TO BE WILL BE.

Depend on how open you to each other. But statistic shows 2 years relationship before mariage is the best,yielding most successful mariage.

Its different for all couples... it all depends on what yor thinking and feelings are.
