do i use the note pad to write my code or MS word I do not have VB?

    Depends, what are you righting code for? HTML? Windows Script? Perl? I guess what Im asking is, what this code for? :)

    Code is usually written using a text editor such as notepad.

    Wordpad can also be used as a text editor.

    Some languages provide their own editor.

    TextPad is pretty good free text editor, however, it won't compile your VB programs.

    most probably a text editor like notepad would do. Using wourd may be problematic cause of the autocorrect features etc.. however please specify your question in a better way cause we dont get what is it that you wanna do :P
