I want to keep a lock of hair together, any ideas more attractive than Scotch tape?

    Take a piece of thread and tie two knots around the locks--then finish it off with a small bow. This is the best way to go.

    Elmer's Glue works good and dries clear. If I remember correct it can be removed with soap and water. Make sure you use the Regular and not the Wood Glue, it a brownish color and more waterproof.

    tie it together BEFORE cutting it. If you have already cut it, you could place it in a small box or press in a photo frame.You may still be able to tie it with a piece of thread.

    Tiffanies and other jewelers used to sell beautiful trinket boxes and large lockets for just this purpose.

    Im gonna go with the ribbon...... (not sure what hair gel and other chemicals will do over time)

    you can try hair spray, but not too much or it'll look shellacked. or, if it works for your look, try using another piece of hair to wrap around the other lock.

    hair gel is the best way who told you tape that can ruine your hair dont do that

    I believe they used to use ribbon.
