I have a Viacam camera from argos. Same thing was happening to me. These cameras use up batteries really quickly.
I bought a mains adaptor from e-bay to use insead of batteries a couple of months ago and camera has worked perfect since then.

If you've been using the flash much, that's the culprit! The flash bulb on any camera takes a lot of battery power to charge. You might try to get rechargeable batteries and a charger...it'll save you tons of money in the long run.

digital cameras needs lots and lots of battery power, get super power batterys from a camera shop, they are better and recargable. having two sets is better too
