It depends on where we are when they tell me. Like if we are in front of allot of people and this person telling me is getting a big 'ha-ha' out of it, then it would really be the pits.

But, if it was a sincere and discreet heads-up, I would definitely feel that this person is one of few. I would also want to get to know this person more.

It's like telling someone that their tag is sticking out of the back of the neck on their shirt.

It's embarrassing but as soon as you know.....it saves you from any more embarrassment.

Yep, there aren't many people that would tell you...so the ones that do are the ones you would like to hang more with because of the 'type' of person they are.

I’d wonder why no one told me sooner. My mind would begin back-tracking in quick flashes… what was the last thing I ate? how many people did I smile at?

If the person informs me in a discreet way, then I would be very appreciative and thankful for his/her honesty.

While in the restroom, looking at the mirror, trying to use my tongue to clean my teeth, I’d think to myself: oh well, why be embarrassed… this is life and it happens to anyone!

Life lesson #353: foods not to eat out in public include corn on the cob & whole mangos.

feel?? I go and look in the mirror, then clean my teeth in the bathroom, or I say oh yeah that was that great food I had earlier. I was just saving some for dessert. I don't really care what people think about me.

I will be very grateful that that person is not a hypocrite and try to remove that awful stuff soonest possible. Better than getting weird expressions from others and be embarassed later when you look at the mirror.

I think for a moment, just to take in the 2 languages they're making no sense in...

Then I get a toothpick and say thanks.

Later, I slip them a bar napkin with the address to Bablefish on it.

A little embarrased, but definitely glad they told me.

I agree with the person that said it also depends if theyve told you in front of other people.

PS. I always tell people! Even about their tag sticking out :o)

I feel relieved that they told me! I act a little embarrassed, thank them, and go clean out those pearly whites.
