If you cannot get the disk out the "traditional" way do the following. Don`t worry it`ll do no harm to the player or the disk. There is a safety button for cases like when the power goes out and you can`t get the disk out.

So turn off the player. On the front of the player, where you put in the disk there is a tiny hole. Just big enough to put a needle in it. Well get a needle and push it in. This opens the hatch, and you`ll get your disk back. If you don`t have a hole then try the following. Unplug the player for a minute or two, then plug it in again and start it. It should open now. Good luck! :-)

Push the 'DVD' button on the remote. Hit the 'stop' either on the remote or the face of the player. Push the 'eject' or 'open' button either on the remote or the face of the player.

    Ta-da! DVD out!

If this don't help, then it's off to the repair shop!
