    Monfongo--- plaintains green with fish or chicken

    I like gundudi rice....the gundudi is pidgeon english for the gundule beans in it, and made with cut up pork steaks including the bone, a red colored spice, rice and cilantro, all steamed to a lovely temperature and smell, served with anything yo little heart desires.

    I have two favorites. I love pasteles when they are well done. My second favorite is plain white rice and pink beans with ham in them.

    Bacalao serenata, my wife is Puerto Rican and makes this dish outstandingly well.

    I fry plantains and form them into a cup and stuff with shrimp, onions, peppers. I don't know the name, sorry. I searched PR recipes on the internet.
