Move to Ocala, Sebring, Orlando, Florida?

Don't know much about churches but if religion is you number 1 concern, you should start with your church for reference elsewhere. Apart from that, Naples and Ft. Myers are two of the most overpriced areas in this country. So you may do well by taking profit and trade down on the dollar without compromising life style. At lease you don't have to fight the traffic on I 75 anymore. Take advantage on the current capital gain tax break on selling your home now.

There are still ample affordable residential housing in the Orlando area although the prices are inching up. Ocala and Sebring are sleepers but not for long. Four years ago, my affiliates bought 840 acres of land in Vero for $4300 an acre knowing that it worth $12,000 rezoned to 5 acre mini farms. They just turned down $76,000 an acre. So if you have a chance to grab a chunk of land (citrus farms in the path of growth) with the proceeds of your sale in Ft. Myers and put it in Ocular or Sebring, it may pay off handsomely a few years later. These two places are will likely become the "Bed Room Communities" for Orlando just like Verso Beach to Palm Beach. Orlando is probbaly going to be a lot more expensive then the other areas you stated.
