Where to??
I have to organise an event for a home where the patients are terminally ill and have only some time to live. i suggested outdoor place like picnic at a garden but my teacher was concerned that if it rained it would be troublesome. so she suggested going to a shopping centre that was going to open soon. i told the home's organiser and she said her main concern was there will be too many people so probably those patients (guess some will be on wheelchairs) will get bumped here and there. any suggestions on where to bring them and what to do there? you can give me a generalised answer or those from Singapore please name a specific place.
the group should be consisting of around 50 less than 100 people. and the budget of course quite little cos its school money.

First of all how big is the group that you will be bringing out and what is their age. Is there any budget constraint for bringing them out? If it is not too big a group, you can think of getting them for a movie show follow by a makan session. But you need to call the companies to see if they are willing to make special arrangement for this group of patient. Alternatively, you can discuss this with the home's organiser to see if they have any good suggestion.

Why not organise event at Botanical Garden, Sentosa, or Bird park.they have indoor hall for event. If no raining, then you guys can bring them to walk around. Fresh air can make them feel more comfortable.

Probably you could try some of the museums, it's shelter and not so crowded. These are some of the list:
Asian Civilisation Museum;
Changi Chapel & Museum;
Chinatown Heritage Centre;
Malay Heritage Center;
Singapore Art Museum....
