I value a licensed medical doctor that has examined me and has my blood tests and X-rays and my medical background when making a prognosis or prescription more so than Dr. Mom's opinion. We ALL have opinions based on suppositions but a my doctor's opinion is based on firsthand findings and laboratory findings and the conclusions are often based on educational background and years of experience in the field of medicine and my individual body that has been examined.

It's a harness, and I was advised to use it by my youngest sons neurologist. I have 3 sons. It is less invasive than medication, which she also suggested. Idk if you call a neurologist an expert, she is a specialist, and a doctor. In my case, I have irish twins (born 13 months apart), and the older one is autistic. The younger dx ADHD at 24 months old by the same neurologist who suggested clonidine for his safety. Natasha, a restraint limits range of motion, a harness does no such thing, but a high chair does, guess you don't use one of those? And in a psych facility a high chair, gerichair, or any chair with a tray is a restraint.
