Did anyone else feel really weird after getting the covid vaccine?
I just got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine about 9 hours ago. I got it in my left arm. My left arm feels a little sore, as expected, but my right arm feels extremely heavy. It’s like it takes a lot of effort just to lift it. My headache went away with some ibuprofen, but I feel a little “foggy.” My eyelids feel heavy, and I’m a bit groggy and disoriented. I don’t believe I have a fever, and I’m not too achy like I was expecting. I don’t usually feel like this when I’m sober, but I definitely haven’t been drinking. My eyes feel like they’re working extra hard to focus. Did anyone else feel like this?

I got my first dose of moderna a few days ago and had similar stuff. My arm got sore minutes later. Then hours later, i felt this slight heaviness in my head, and I have been getting tired at random times in the day and sleeping a bit more than I did Pre-vaccine.

My friend felt sick like he had the flu for two days after his 2nd vaccine. I think everyone has a different response.

That sounds familiar & everybody has different symptoms. My arm wasn't sore at all, but I had body aches & a headache for days. But it was a small price to pay to get some protection. The feeling of relief is worth it!

It is common to get side effects from many vaccines. It means your body is learning to fight off the disease you got the vaccine for. It usually goes away within a day or two, and some people get more symptoms than others.
