I use both. Firefox is the main one that I use, but some sites still require IE so I still find it handy at times. And anyway Firefox isn't perfect but it sure beats IE any day.

There are lots of sites that don't work on IE. Can't download updates and things without IE initially. Websites print out incorrectly in Firefox. And considering 70% of people use IE. its much more effective to cater to the majority.

Dooooooooode.... You just need to run Linux, or better yet Mac, or better yet just get an Amiga. Nobody uses those, AND they're obsolete! It's perfect! Fight the man, fight Microsoft, and let your spirit fly with virus-free AmigaOS!
Seriously - the reason everyone sticks with IE is because it works best. Complain all you want and shill for Firefox until you're blue in the face, but the fact is IE is the most usable and universally site-compatible browser available. There is no real competition because there *IS* no real competition.
