There are many disorders that it could be but the most common would be allergies or conjuntivitis.

first thing that comes to mind is an allergy. if he's outside a lot, he could have managed to come in contact with something that's affecting him negatively. pine trees? or some organism in the grass or dirt he displaces ....

another maybe. food allergy. have you given him anything new recently? like treats or a new dog food?

i'd probably start here and if you've already weeded those things out (or even if you haven't), you might want to ring up your vet to help you diagnose the problem. plus, they can give your pet something to ease the itching since i'm sure that's pretty uncomfortable for the little, well, big guy.

you could provide your canines Benedryl. it extremely is extremely useful to call your vet and ask them how a lot for her length, as you do no longer choose to overdose her. Use the pills, no longer the pills, so as that if she in basic terms needs 0.5 a pill you would be waiting to break it in 0.5. If she has itchy epidermis, you ought to use an oatmeal shampoo on her, and that would help calm her epidermis. you will get that at any puppy furnish shop. If her eyes are extremely bothering her, and you have the extra money, you could desire to take her to the vet and that they might prescribe her eye drops. yet to keep on money, test the Benedryl first, it could extremely do the trick.

Can dogs get allergies? You wonder if perhaps something in the environment is bugging your dog. I'd check with a vet.

most likely it's a form of allergies. My chihuahua had the same problem. Take him to the vet and they will give him a shot to relieve the allergies.

sounds like allergies, have you changed his food, added a new treat , what has changed recently. try buying another bag of food with a fresher date if this doesnt help finish the old bag after the new one is all gone. Did anyone give him table food with soy sauce? Something has changed causing an allergic reaction. good luck.

allergies. you can give a 15 milligram benydril every 4 hours. try it it helps. they are powder inside do you can open one up and put it in a bit of cheese or peanut butter to make it easy to take. if you feel better you can check with your vet but that is what mine suggested and my dog is a 9 pound doxie

sounds like your dog has an allergy, has he gotten into something different lately? I know my dog's allergies didn't seem to start as soon as he was born, he didn't start really scratching and ear infections and rubbing his eyes until he was about 2.

Have you swiched his food? Or maybe its a bite or something?

How bad is it? Maybe you might need to go to a vet if it last more than 2 days.
