Need some ideas...?

I have an art project called "Art with a Message" and I do not know what to do. I need to create some sort of message. I brought home a window pane to use because I have to create art on a 2-D or 3-D object. I also have cups, vases, and boxes that I can use. I can use any media that I would like. Any ideas?

Because you've mentioned boxes, I'd go for an artsy message like "think out of the box"; you can include light bulbs and whatever strikes your fancy. The way to design it is what you're best at. It's just a thought. Anyway, if this doesn't appeal too much, there is a website creatingminds.org which displays various techniques to improve creativity. That might help you as well. Good luck with the project, and let us know what your solution was.

How about, "The Internet and it's Denizens are transmuting our written history into a spoken one"

    Or- the old standby of

"Inspiration doesn't operate on your scholastic scheduling"

for the first one, draw a book buring not with fire but with binary code (0's and 1's), it's not very abstracted, but it may do the trick

for the second, you could you could cram calanders into something clearly organically shaped and cleary not designed for calendars.
