if there is no life after death..why do we have to live our life today?

we have to live our lives because we're already here. we may as well make the best of this experience.

Because what is going to happen later has no bearing on how we feel now. Why waste our life simply because we don't know what's coming next? No life after death should give you more conviction to make the most of the time you have, not less. If you are looking for the meaning of life, you won't find it here ;)

ps. I believe there is life after death, in some way, shape, or form. There have been people in the world (I'm talking hundreds here) who have died, and remained dead for 10-20 minutes, and then come back. They all describe the exact same thing happening after their death. More than coincidence I think. There is more to life than there seems, as is the case with anything else in this world. Whether you choose to see it from a religious point of view or not, there is more.

The thing is there is indeed life after death. You live your life well today for the sake of living a better one after death and ultimately gaining merit for true salvation, such that no God can bring.

Only your actions and thought dictate who you are and where you're going to end up!

When you die, your dead, that's it.

No one has come back yet to tell me different.

Live your life the best way you can without hurting others. You have to live your life today because there may not be a tomorrow.

Of-course one can't be assured that he/she will be existing tomorrow. But why have the savings banks have come up? coz of the insecured feeling of today that you need money for tomorrow if you exist. so you have to live today for the probable existance of tomorrow :) cheers.
