try putting another ram stick in ur pc ... nowerdays even for really basic applications a pc needs 512 meg of DDR ram so try that and c if it helps
also plus to that fact is this ... ALL programs will expand into cpu speed as much as possible to get their job/processes done as fast as possible, its what their programmed to do, only the pc imposes limits on the ammount of cpu speed avalible to programs, and that also depends on what other programs r running at the same time and how much power they need on minimum.
For the Record i use IE7 and i have no problems at all, and it will run behind some of the most cpu intensive applications i can use on my pc (black and white 2 world of warcraft)

If you have issues with Firefox then switch to Opera instead. You want to stay away from IE and it's hideous security record and Opera's the other main alternative to FF. The other browser a few people recommended here is just like an add-on to IE so it has some extra features but all the same problems, just like most 'alternatives'.

You either have a very small cpu driver, small ram cache,or lots of detailed rubbish on your old server. If you don't NEED firefox,it is'nt mandatory to have it, it's fun though!Try and ditch some old files, bookmarks, etc. It might free up a little space, but your server should really have no bearing on your speed. It's only 16MB,so it depends on what else you've got lurking in there!

Why do no longer you get carry of an until eventually now version of Firefox. that could desire to help with the subject. while Microsoft does it improve issues then the numerous classes that labored advantageous earlier look to have the wind knocked out of them. That in simple terms passed off to me with magnificent, i stumbled on an internet site the place it had until eventually now variations of maximum classes. i'm unsure if there is one there for you, yet what I did grew to become into bumped off the greater contemporary version and then while it asks 'might you want to enhance' click no. wish you stumble on what you want.

Remove it! Download the new internet explorer 7 beta 2! it is better! Mozilla firefox is crap! I hated it too. Internet explorer 7 is way fast and more modern.

If it's giving you that much trouble, I would remove it. You already have a browser on your computer, why take up more space.
