Are sunsets just the reverse of a sunrises?

Are sunrises and sunsets the same or are they the reverse of the other. Look at a sunset. Are the colors you see in reverse order of a sunrise. And vice ad versa.

If you film a sunset, and then play the film backwards, it won't look much like a sunrise. There are all kinds of meteorological differences, starting with the evening air being warmer than the morning air.

<>If you are referring to the physical embodiment of sunrises and sunsets, no- they are NOT the reverse or inverse of each other. The colors and patterns you see both at sunrise and sunset are determined by the weather systems in effect at the time. Clouds, fog, precipitation, temperatures and other factors dictate what the sunrise and sunset will look like. No two will ever be exactly the same.

There are subtle differences. Sunset is at the end of the day, so the air is more turbulent because the sun has heated some objects (like land) more than others (like bodies of water). The air is warmer. The air has more particulate matter from industry and vehicles. There's generally less fog. It makes enough difference that "Red in the morning, sailors take warning; red in the night, sailors delight" is actually useful advice. Locally, your view also depends on the terrain, atmospheric conditions, and pollution levels in the east versus the west. Phenomena like the green flash will likely differ. What you perceive is affected by what you most recently saw.

No....Think about it, the earth is moving around the sun, always in one direction, so it's a continuation of the earths orbital path, we turn toward the sun and away from it, but it's stationary, the colors are refracted light, which vary with weather conditions., a sun rize and sunset are a continuation of each other, not a reverse.

    Yeap.

    The earth is round.

Sun sets here in my country but rises there at your country at the other side of the earth.

Which is why we have different time zones.
