If I am in invisible mode in messenger, can some body look at my cam without my knowledge?
hi i want to know are there any third party tools that allow people to see my web cam inspite of me being in invisible mode but still the cam is running?
if the could know that i am online and try to avoid , that is ok for me.
but if they start viewing my cam and still the web cam window does not show the users viewing count, then that really worrys me.
plz let me know

No, from my experience, it ALWAYS shows the viewers count. I have had people try to view my cam when I was talking to someone else, and it sends me an invite, saying so and so is trying to view your cam, accept or deny.......but, I'm not a hacker so........

only if you give them permision, you will get a pop up box that says do you want to allow this person to view your webcam?
Thats the only way i know that can happen.
All though there are people who are very good with computers and they could give you a better answer.
I suppose a hacker could do it if they want.
If worried about it i would suggest turning off your webcam

on the bottom of your web cam pic they will tell you how many people are looking at your web cam.

No they can not.
check your privacy options to make sure that it says they must ask you for permission prior to viewing. but if you are in invisible mode, there is nothing to worry about.

It would depend on how you have your webcam set up. Do you have people ask you for your permission first to see you?Or do you let people see you at all times? Go to your preferences, and check your webcam settings there.
