Book I read late 80's early 90's...?
It was a pre-teen/teen book about a girl who lived in London (or some part of England) and she "ran away" if I remember right. I remember her sitting against a big lion statue in Trafalgar square, and also going into a theater by saying her aunt was a costume designer there or something. And finding her dad- he had a big house on a bluff I think.

I have been looking for this book as well! Her father was an actor, one that she admired for years, and her mother was a real estate agent.
