Lost my sound; how do I get it back? I've tried everything.?
Also, my speakers are plugged in, but they won't, don't, or can't come on. Let me explain...I got a new computer station and set it up. Had to disconnect everything and then reconnect. Everything else works except the sound. Can someone out there please help me? Thank you in advance.

Go to control panel. Select sound and audio devices. Make sure the volume setting is high enough.
Also, one of the speakers may have a power switch. If so make sure it is ON.
Best of luck!

I have that problem sometimes too. Go to the control panel and make sure your sound is not on mute. I dont know how it gets set to mute, but mine does it sometimes. Good luck.

Did you check if you have the speakers pluged into the right jack?, try pluging it into other jacks on the sound card
