I am 29 years old. I know I need to go to the doctor, and I plan on calling tomorrow. If any one has any idea of what is wrong please let me know. Thanks.

Update:

I don't know what is causing this, but I am wondering why you would let yourself suffer such pain for more than a day? You deserve to have a pain-free life and wish you would promise us that in the future you will seek treatment right away for any discomfort. You DESERVE to feel good all day every day!

It is difficult to say without knowing more and examining you. that is why you need to go to a doctor. But, I think you are afraid of a heart problem. It is a possibility, so go get looked at. But there are other possibilities, too. It is possible that you have esophageal reflux. that is when the valve on top of your stomach does not completely close and some of your stomach acid splashes up in your esophagus and burns and hurts. It happens more often when you lean over or lay down. Try eating and then sitting up or standing without bend ing and see if it is not so bad then. But fear will also make that worse. It could be your heart, but it could also not be. You need to be checked out, but you need to also try to relax. It could also be an ulcer. It could be asthma (asthma can start as an adult.) Go see a doctor and tell them about it. think about when it happens, what you were doing, eating, thinking, whatever to help them figure it out.

    good luck.

Do you take aspirin or ibuprofen every day. Its sounds like an ulcer only a bit confusing because usually your stomach will feel better after you eat. It could be gall bladder does it hurt more if you eat fatty foods. Go to your doctor and tell them your symptoms, you could have a gall stone. If not an ulcer probably gall bladder. Try less fatty foods and see your dr. right away.

Esophogeal? "Referred" cardiac pain? Pneumonia, pneumonitis?

A gall bladder attack? Pancreatitis? Go and get a CMP (comphresive metabolic panel) by process of elimination and US they should find it. Also note whether you are febrile or not (running fevers). Is it before, during, after eating or constant? Have you been on protonix? (Pills for reflux) and have they worked? Just make mental notes and keep a log if you have the time cuz it will help to make a DX. (diagnosis)

I agree with the first poster. Chest pains and stomach pains are so are to pinpoint, unless you are a doctor. Even then sometimes doctors are at a loss as to what is causing the pain. Hopefully your doctor will find the cause right away.

    Good luck!

could be heartburn, it can be very painful. Or something more serious, good idea drs tommorow, it is your gaul bladder side, but ive had that, and my symptoms were completely different than what you say. It could even be trapped wind

one thing noone has mentioned, although their posts are very truthful and possible. It could be stress and or anxiety attacks. note the time it happens what relieves it, how long it lasts and lastly what where you doing whenit started. all will be helpful to the dr.
