Why is solar radiation so bad for our health, when sunlight feels so good?"?

Its good for us in "healthy doses" the trouble is we humans have a hard time distinguishing what is good for us. Just long enough for Vitamin D and to keep the skin healthy. Instead we stay long enough to burn and give the skin a chance for cancers. Cancers come from "deformed cells" and that occurs most often from burns and damaged skin.
Consider the heart, have you heard of Heart cancer? No, because the heart cells grow slowly and over time and last longer, therefore giving them less chance to mutate.

Not everything that feels good is good for us..
Take sex and drugs for example.
Consequences. There are things you can do though, use suncream. You'll still feel the heat from the sunlight and be protected.
Anyway that's two different things you are feeling. You are just enjoying the feeling of the heat produced by the energy. Same as you would enjoy the heat coming from a campfire or something which doesn't have the solar radiation.
When you're outside the sun is always shining it's rays down on earth, if you get TOO MUCH radiation it starts to damage your skin is all. It doesn't particularily matter how hot it is or anything.
That's a different thing, but naturally it's hotter when more of the sun is exposed (on clear days)
The rays can come through the clouds so you can get "sun" damage throughout the winter even if you don't think it's sunny and aren't enjoying the sunlight.

Actually, the dermatologists and the orthopedists can't agree on what exactly is a healthy amount of sunlight. It's very natural for us to be out in the sun, but if you have skin cancer in your family, I'd be careful about staying out unprotected in the sun for more than 20 minutes a day.

Solar radiation is not entirely bad for us. Everyone needs some exposure to sunlight. It's extreme overexposure without protection that is harmful to us.

Sunlight can be bad for you as well. It is all about moderation. Solar radiation is not intended for any type of moderational function. But then again I am not a doctor.....just my guess.
