ps2 is free online, you need to get the adaptor that has the jacks on it if you have an older one. Beyond that, you just need a regular cat5 cable and a connected router or hub to plug it into. I don't know if individual games make you pay or not though

You need a broadband internet connection and the PS2 Network adapter then you need that Cd that came with your PS2 to set up the connection maybe not though some games have that software on them
