Does any one have a good beef --or deer jerkey recipe?

I have a Nesco dehydrator and need some new tried and true recipes thanks!

    3 pounds venision -- slicec super thin

    1 bottle Liquid Smoke¨

    1/2 cup black pepper

    1/4 cup seasoned salt

    1/3 cup dry onion powder

    1 dash lemon pepper

    1 dash paprika

    2 tablespoons garlic powder

    1 dash cayenne pepper

    Use a large container with lid. Mix all ingredients (vary spice to your

    taste). Add meat. Shake well. Refrigerate 24-48 hours shaking often.

    Spread in dehydrator. This takes usually about 36 hours.

    Beef

    1 Flank steak 4 tb Lemon juice

    1 Clove garlic, minced 1/2 c Soy sauce

    1/2 c Honey 1 Pinch salt

    1 Pinch pepper

    Put steak in freezer for about half an hour, just until firm. Slice steak

    across grain, about 1/4-inch thick. Combine remaining ingredients and

    marinate steak strips in this for at least 2 hours. Place slices on rack in

    pan and dry in oven at 150 degrees, 12 hours.

    yes i do

    you can use this with beef,vennison,rabbit,duck,pheasant,lamb,veal

    per 2 pounds of meat

    1 bottle soy sauce

    2 bay leafs

    10 sprigs fresh thyme

    3 gloves sliced garlic

    2 shallots, sliced

    5 tablespoons honey

    1 cup brown sugar

    1/2 cup olive oil

    coriander seeds

    mustard seeds

    1/2 cup black peppercorns coarse

    crushed red pepper flakes

    1/2 cup cognac or brandy (optional but essential)

    marinate for 24 hours and dehydrate based on the quantiy your doing and by the manual.

    also in a separate bowl marinate apricots that are cut in 1/2 but only marinate for 2 hours and dehydrate those as well they are amazing.

    also you can add 2 cinnamon sticks to the marinade if using vennison.

    i saw this on Martha one day

    take a nice roast about 2" thick and put in freezer for 30 min

    then slice it evenly about 1/8" thick

    lay strips out in baking pan

    sprinkle heavily with salt, ground pepper and garlic powder

    then put in dehydrator or oven on lowest setting for 8-10 hrs
