Trinidad Cuisine?

I'm looking for a recipe, but not sure of the name,it is something on the line as seasoned potatoes, wrapped in a dough, that resembles perogies.

Sadi Roti is traditional in Trinidad. This is just the flatbread. Roti is a common term used in the West Indies for the flatbread filled with curried veggies, potatoes, or meat. Good stuff . . . now I'm craving some!

If its deep fried it sounds like "Samosas" but i'm pretty sure that's a Indian dish. I would love to go to Trinny sometime and find out. Good luck.

    P.S. might be spelled "sammosas"
