I don't think he's been discharged, just transferred to a hospital closer to his home down south.... although he seems to have made an amazing recovery from an incredible accident.... bring back Top Gear soon I say!

Presenter Richard Hammond is believed to be on the verge of being allowed out of hospital and back to his Cheltenham home.

I hope so. I don't really like him as a presenter as he trivialises everything. However I wouldn't wish THAT on him OR his family.
The sooner he is back the sooner Top Gear will be back on the air.
UPDATE: I have just heard on the C5 news that he has been moved from the hospital he is in to another, less sophisticated, hospital closer to home so he can receive visitors with more ease....good news.

He's been moved 2 a hospital nearer 2 his home.
Hopefully he's recovery will B a speedy 1, no pun intended.

He was moved from the hospital in Leeds to another one that's closer to his home. Nevertheless, it's very good news in my opinion.

I've just heard on the radio that he's been moved. I'm still trying to get my head round how quickly he's recovering. It's unbelievable. Keep it up!
