A men's shoe size 8 equals what size in women's size?

I like some skates but come in men's size. If I wear a size 9, and am a female, what men size should I buy?

About a 9, to 9 1/2... I'd know because if I ever want to buy Adidas from the "men" section I fit into an 8.

Try a size 8 or 7 1/2. I am a size 11 womens and a size 10 mens. But I think skates need to be a bit more snug than shoes so probably a 7 1/2 would be good for you. Hope that helps!

Source(s): 'cause I wear an 8 and my wife wears 10 and we can wear the same shoes. ( not at the same time, of course!)

    I wear a 9 1/2 to 10 womens and buy a 8 mens. Mens are wider.

As a female, you buy men's shoes 2 sizes smaller than what you wear. For example, I take 7 1/2, so I may buy a 5 1/2 boys shoe. You would take a size 7 in mens, but I wouldn't count on it. Always try before you buy!

A mens 8 is a 10 womens. It is usually 1.5 to 2 sizes up. So you should get a 7 or try a 7.5 in mens.

    A mans 8 is a womans 10. Men are always 2 behind.

I think men's size is about one size lower, though that may not always be the case. You are best to try them on before buying them, just to be on the safe side.
