Very few people "hate" God. You realize that, right? There are people who hate the many dreadful side effects of organized religion, and some of them carry that over to hating religion period or even religious people. We call these people teenagers. Who like attention. Anyway. These people (get ready for it) don't believe in god, at least not as you understand god, and oftentimes not at all. I understand it's tricky with a belief system like yours, where you've been told that it's all or nothing, that if Noah's boat wasn't a hundred cubits long Jesus doesn't love you, that everything you've been informed you believe is completely self-evident. But be charitable and try to step back. The people who disagree with you don't "hate" god. No one puts effort into hating something they don't believe in. Do you hate the tooth fairy? No, didn't think so. You just understand that there isn't a tooth fairy, that there's no evidence for a lady in a pink dress taking away bloody molars, and there's lots of evidence against, in the form of the parents sneaking in to plant quarters under the kid's pillow. This is where your average atheist stands on the subject.

Incredibly true, I just sent a couple of emails out to two that did, but I already know what to expect, insults, epithets, slurs, the usual. I would however, just once, like to actually get an answer as to what the hateful attitudes toward gays really stems from. Not the pat answers like religion and such, but an actually reason, be it abuse, whatever. I'd be interested, but I know it wont happen. Cowardice is one of the few things bullies share with each other.

That's not always true. I"ve emailed several bashers. Granted, most don't reply, but I have gotten a few to actually hold a decent conversation. I've also noticed that after I do strike up a conversation with them, they tend to not post here anymore!

It pisses me off too, but I used to have my email up and I got a lot of hate mail from religious bigots. I am usually happy to receive them, it just shows my words made them uncomfortable, but this one guy just kept overloading my inbox. I just have my 360 up now, but the cowards don't even have that.

I've noticed that too. It makes me sick that they're not willing to have an intelligent dicussion outside the forum. Then again, it seems they aren't capable of such things if they're posting their mindless slander in the first place...

Ever notice how people maliciously use personal information like names? They do so to cheat and steal. I'll tell you what this coward hates, he hates to clean out two-thousand pieces of spam everyweek, with more added every day. As for debate, you aren't worth the time beyond this little note.

yeah i noticed. but what is the point? you can post all the intelligent stuff on them (Which i would have done too) but their brain is gonna shut down and ignore the intelligent words and continue rampaging like the moron they are and hide away before the people can fight back with true righteous words and justice.
