Hi Andy,
ooh. that .flm is a very proprietary, obscure file format. I've never seen it before until your post...and I've seen a *lot*. You did not elect to mention which application you used to generate that file (I saw a few at www.filext.com); if it were Adobe Filmstrip (don't have experience with that app), the strip is supposedly a sequence of bitmap images, those images could likely be exported and imported to any decent graphics or video app.
But I'm lost otherwise.
.wmv on the otherhand is a different fish; there's a host of apps that'll recognize and work with it, like WinAvi Converter, Xilisoft Converter, Nero Vision, etc but none of them are freebies; you can officially download time-limited trials though.
Good luck.

I create .FLM files with Adobe Premiere, So, as far as I know, you would need to import the file into Premiere and save it as a movie, or encode it into whatever video format you need.
Also you could open the FLM in Photoshop (as Photoshop is the intended destination for these files - for special effects, etc.) and copy each frame into an individual image file, and save each file, sequentially numbered. Be sure to identify the frame size, in pixels (ie:720x480) of your source material.
Than, just about any video editing software will allow you to import these stills and save the sequence as a movie.
As for general format conversions, I always use AVS Video Converter, which has never failed me (but it does not support the QuickTime .MOV format).
Source(s): Also, these files are often HUGE - and sometimes gimongous - so, you may need a lot of RAM to manipulate them. When you open the file, it's exactly like you are opening every frame of the video at one time. It is a Filmstrip, after all. :) Good Luck - Anonymous1 decade ago
As Talked about on Yahoo Answer in your case put the word "converter" in the search box.

As seen on Yahoo Answers this is the where to shop for downloadable software !!!!!

I think Ultra RM Converter may allow you to do that:
