No. Raycroft is a #1 goalie, and Esche will probably be as well with Niittymaki probably injured for a while. The other guy just upgraded on potential wins, GAA, and SV%. Broduer is good, but he starts out slowly. But once he gets hot, you'll pick up some goodie SHOs and Wins. Hope you have a good backup.

As far as Carter goes. In your league he's a little more valuable since he'll probably be on the #2 PP line. He's got the speed to create SHPs. Carter has a pretty high SH% and got lots of PPP assists when he was with Washington and Vancouver.

Esche is going to start for Philly, but I have a feeling Niittymaki will take over as starter this season. Anson Carter may or may not have a good season. He fitted in pretty well with the Sedin twins but he's in Columbus right now. Meanwhile Martin Brodeur is one of the top goalies in the league. He doesn't have the support of Niedermayer or Stevens anymore, but he played pretty well last season. He was top ten in wins, GAA and shutouts last year. I think in the end it'll all depend on how Raycroft bounces back. If he's good then maybe the other guy got a better trade. If he sucks, you definitely came out on top.
