Has anyone learned anything valuable from this site?

The greatest things I've learned here, were possible problems with my car. Because of people's suggestions, I was able to go through a checklist of possibilities, and have now checked everything off, without paying a dime. I know what the problem is now, and I can spend my money on that, instead of the things that aren't wrong!

In my opinion, Yahoo answers is really a valuable service!

I don't think I have learned any one particular fact; with the possible exception of Thai iced tea. (gotta go back and check)

My did I learn quite a bit of "meta" information. Lots of people are lonely and often have rather gruesome relationship problems. Others tie their brain in a knot and cannot even ask a straight question.

And it is fun to see the young and the old. And great comments like .. "Oh I like that cool song by Paul McCartney .. he was a beatle?" or "I really liked something (from the 1980s .. pick a few things) .. I thought it was so cool in Kindergarden"

I learn something every day. I spend more time browsing than answering questions. Talk about information overload. I get a lot of great tips on computer problems.

Yes, but it takes time and patience for you to read all the answers on the given questions. By reading all the answers you can learned some valuabe things.

Yes, I had a problem with a timeshare and a lady nice enough was able to write me and tell me that she used to work for a time share branch and that I had to get a lawyer to win

yes a few things are helpful.. but I have also learned that people can be really really stupid..!

Some asked the dumbest questions that arent really questions.. or it's something ignorant..

Its made me loose faith in the human race.. it's embarrassing to find out that there are more stupid people in our population and race than intelligent people.. Who knew!
