What is the first thing your kids go for in their Easter basket?
do you just place it out in the open or do you do like me and make a game out of finding it-- with clues that help them find it?

Playing the game is what they will remember all their lives. My kids are teenagers now but we still dye eggs the night before and then I write scavenger clues on them to the basket of chocolates. Sometimes jelly beans lead to a false trail which ends up at the displaced litter box. Everyone ends up with a basket but there its always a big See's Candy egg for the first on resolve the puzzle.

My kids go for the candy first. I make a basket and just give it to them.
