Since Megan's Law is American and Val Jean Val is fictional let a Canuck see if he can confuse things. What about the local police station? Does the province have a registry requirement for sex offenders? If so, they should have to release it to public inquiry. If not the province then maybe the Feds. It should be as easy as asking but with protection of privacy laws, who knows.

This information is confidential. Attempts to introduce Megans Law in Australia have, so far, failed. So unless someone made their own list (dodgy) you are unable to get that information.
