Urine infection?

A urine infection cannot be confirmed without taking a urine sample and testing for the presence of bacteria. The fact that you have lower abdominal pain and your period is late could be indicative of a number of medical complaints. I suggest you see your doctor and send off a specimen of your water, as well as being checked over by him or her.

If you had a urine infection it would hurt alot when you went for a wee. Although saying that it could be the very start of an infection. Get Cranberry Juice, drink lots of that, also you can get powered drinks from any chemist, usually from off the shelf.

Also is there a chance u could be pregnant? Frequent trips to the loo can be a sign of pregnancy and a sign of bladder infection. Take a pregnancy test and get some cranberry juice. Good Luck.

I don't know about the period thing, but ya... If u are peeing more and it hurts in u'r lower ab, esp when u gotta pee.. than ya, u probably do have one.. Drink a lot of Cranberry Juice and Water..

I know, cuz I always get them.. go see a DR cuz u need to get anti-biotics...

It's possible that this is a urinary infection, but no way to know for sure until you have some tests. It may also be an intestinal problem, or a gynaecological problem. It's possible that, as other posters have implied, you might be pregnant. You won't know until you get something concrete from your doctor - please go and get some information from them.

Hi I have had this it is normal for you period to be late. Go to the doctors they will ask you to do a urine sample and if this is the cause they will dive you same tablets which will flush it all away.

Make sure you see a doctor asap to be safe - I can only speak for myself but I felt like this when I first fell pregnant and my wee smelt 'funny'.

maybe kidney infection.. If lower bac pain. But best is to schedule appt with doctor! Don't guess!

You really should see a doctor. This could be a number of things. Don't take a chance on your health--please make sure you get seen by a health professional.
