How can I change my messenger Id without deleteing & starting over?

    Create a new public profile then select it as the default. Go to yahoo->my account->edit personal info->edit/create public profiles.

    "and so" is correct if this regards Windows Messenger.

    @ askalicious: "options" is in Windows Messenger's File Menu.

    But there in lies the problem: by "my messenger", we really don't know which instant messenger service the asker is referring to. This could be about AOL's messenger, ICQ, Trillian, Yahoo, Google Talk... the list goes on.
