Am Dutch, need a Schengen Visa for a Nigerian Friend?

Hi,

I'm Dutch and wish to invite a Nigerian collegue for one month of holliday in my country. Any Schengen people here with experience on the visa paperwork?

The Dutch Embassy in Abuja has a website, but it does not answer all the questions. My collegue lives and works in Lagos, so travelling back and forth to Abuja more than once is not a good option.

Suggestions?

Update:

What I am looking for is a Schengen person who actually DID invite a Nigerian person for a holliday in one of the Schenngen countries. So that I can share details on filling out the forms

Update 2:

Please do not simply refer to websites, as I do need a real life person to share the experience.

All depends on the place(s) you want to visit. If you intend to visit only one Schengen country, you must apply at the Embassy or Consulate of that particular country. You apply at the Embassy or Consulate responsible for the state where you live.

If you intend to visit several Schengen countries, you must apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of the country which is your main destination.

If you intend to visit several Schengen countries but do not have a main destination, you should apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of the country which is your first point of entry.
