DS owners: Advance Wars or Age of Empires?

As of right now, I can only choose one of these 2 strat games to get. I'm leaning towards Age of Empires due to its historical roots, but i also don't want to miss out on Advance Wars' legendary gameplay.

    Advance Wars, with Age of Empires you will have trouble picking out the single troops besides Turn Based Stargety beats RTS any day of the week and twice on Sunday

    Advance wars is amazing on DS, you really need to get it. Age of Empires works better on a PC.

    Advance Wars has been getting better reviews Age of Empires doesn't live up to its PC counterpart.
