Apple Ipod Mini - Hard Reset?
Mine is stuck on stupid right now and I dont know what to do!
It usually does run down the battery then shut off. It happens all the time! It happened the first time I ever used it. $200 dollars of crapola!

Last time that happened to me, my scrollwheel was broken. I took the unit to apple for a replacement.
Back your music up then reset it using the ipod updater. If it's still stuck on stupid, let apple replace it.

There is only two things you can do:
1. Wait until the battery goes dead. Then it will reset.
2. Call Apple and ask them why the dumb shi* designer didn't include a reset button on the IPOD.

Alright to reset it this is what you do. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

TO RESET THE MINI, PRESS AND HOLD THE MENU AND SELECT BUTTON (the middle round button) FOR SIX SECONDS.

hi i have a video and mine does the same thing.here are some things i need to know. did it run out of battery when it did this or something like that or did it just do it or do you not know.what i do i let mine just waste all its battery and then mine starts to work.
