When shooting neon lights at night?

And I get a reading of F6.7, should I go to F5 or F8?

As long as you are close, like you are taking pictures of the actual lights, I would think that you would shoot the meter. My buddy shot a bunch of signs at bars from his college town (Auston TX!) and he used a point and shoot film camera. So I would think that you just shoot the meter. If it wasn't something that I could shoot again(I take it yer film, or you could just look at the lcd for a general idea) and it was ly first time (i haven't shot neon) I'd bracket like crazy.

But my bud shot with a 35mm point and shoot, so I think you should be ok.
