how to convert a microsoft word file into "tif" file?
i don't have photoshop so how shell i convert a microsoft file into tif file? i have made a picture in microsoft word.so i want to convert that file in to tif file.

MS-Word app cannot save a file directly into the TIFF format.
Either you can take a screenshot and paste into a graphic app like Photoshop etc., and then save as a TIFF file -or-
If you have 'Microsoft Office Document Image Writer' Printer driver installed (comes with MS Office 2003), then print the file to this printer. In the printer options, choose to save the file as FAX-200dpi TIF image instead of MDI image.
Your TIFF file is ready.

Tif files are images like JPEG or BMP files not WORD documents or letters.The best way to do what you need to do is to do a screen shot of the picture (click on print screen), open Paint, Click on Edit Paste. Crop out the picture, click on File, New (no to save the changes), Edit Paste. THEN, click on File, Save As....tif....

Copy the contents of word file into a blank Powerpoint page/slide which can be saved in .tif format

When you save it, it should give you the option to save it as a tif file. That's all there is to it. Good luck.

Open the file up then go to file, save as, change the name then under that change the file to a .tif file and resave it. I reccomend the name change so you know which one is which when you go to delete one or the other.
