If I fire a gun at the ON button on my TV remote control, will the TV go on?

The remote will be destroyed immediatedly, before thsignal can reach the tv.

Judging by the stupidity of that question, I really hope you don't own a gun...or a remote. But honestly, I think the remote would be destroyed first.

Depending on how forcefully the projectile impacts the remote, it presumably could work, but why not just use your finger? I mean, since you're using your finger to squeeze the gun's trigger, your finger obviously works, so why not cut out the middle-man and go straight to source?

the bullet would be travelling so fast it would destroy the remote first. you so need a hobby/job!
