Identify my dog?

He looks like a dead ringer for a basset hound. hes really floppy with longggggg ears, tri-color, white-tipped tail and all. but he's tall, and long-legged. any ideas?

He could be a cross between a Bassett Hound and a Treeing Walker. Treeing Walkers look exactly like a Beagle, except they are taller. The hound dog pup off of "the fox and the hound" was a Treeing Walker.

it sounds like he is a mixed breed, some fox hounds are really tall and have the white tipped tail but the ears are not usually long like the basset hound

Possibly a mix with basset in him. Maybe a beagle? My best guess without a photo.

    A Corgy Welsh/hound mix.

Bassett and Foxhound mix...Can't really decide without a pic. Probably not mixed with Beagle, they have short legs like Bassetts so he wouldn't be long-legged.
