any tips for how not to be nervous for first cheerleading competition?!?!?!?
im really nervous because i just started cheering a few months ago and i have never competed and i dont know what to do to calm my nerves!!!

I used to be a cheerleader and honestly you need to remember that it is just for fun. Unless you are psychotic about it and broke another girl's leg just to make the squad. The way I see it, people show up to watch you and only you. So you have to give them what they came to see. SMILE and deep down, just remember to have fun.

My girlfriend's a cheerleader and what I do to calm her nerves are, well...., um...., have, some...good quality time together if u know what I mean. Just kidding!?!?! Just have fun in what u do. That's what calms peoples' nerves. Just enjoy what you're doing and everything's fine. Good luck

um quiet down -once you've worry learnind motions, imagine your self doing them perfectlyin your head till now you bypass to sleep -practice in the front of a reflect -once you first study them, attempt doing them wiht your eyes closed, you'd be shocked at how much better you could undergo in concepts -cartwheels and roundoffs are large, yet a backhandsrping is going to do better strong than the front, you aren't to any extent further going to get it in 2 weeks though, so basically concentration better on getting your roundoff suited -lots of the skill on your jumps comes out of your center muscle mass, so initiate understanding your abs better -maximum coaches might want to incredibly see suited from in a bounce than authentic, with the aid of the undeniable fact that's a lot less stressful to advance -once you've each and every thing else, weight gained't count number, yet in case you favor to lose slightly, basically devour better effective and workout better

I would recommend Valium but that is probably illegal and not to safe for cheerleaders. What used to work for me for some competitions was to act like it was just another practice. Tune out any audience there might be and just imagine it is only me and my team.

just relax and be yourself. also just pretend that your doing it in front of the whoole school. also just think about what your doin gand pay attention to other people.
