Who to start?? TE - Heath Miller vs. KC or Randy McMichael @ NYJ and McCallister vs. PHI or Foster @ BAL?????

I plan on starting McCallister and Miller, however I hate starting a QB and running back from the same team. I have to start Brees cause my other QB is Brady and on a BYE. Leinart and Harrington are available to pickup, any thoughts??

First, I agree that starting Deuce McAllister over DeShaun Foster. However, neither has a great matchup as the Eagles defense is pretty good. Not Baltimore good, but still pretty good. I go with McAllister because he is the better player (he's playing extremely well because of all the attention given to Reggie Bush) than Foster and he faces a defense that

However, I'd like to just interject and not just dismiss the Chiefs defense. So okay, the Chiefs defense won't be confused with Baltimore or Chicago but they are improved this year. They are 4th in total yards allowed, 4th in pass defense. These aren't your father's Chiefs. Their defense has a very good secondary (Sammy Knight, Patrick Surtain, Ty Law) and young guns Tamba Hali and Derrick Johnson and veteran Kendrell Bell. Last time I checked, 4 of them were Pro Bowlers, so I would temper the enthusiasm to start Miller. I would not be expecting more than the usual 2 or 3 receptions from him, and if one of them happens to be a TD, then you're in luck.

Randy McMichael will definitely get more looks from Joey Harrington than Miller will get from Ben Roethlisberger. He's been slow to start this year, but I think his production has been trending up the last few games. He's averaging 55 catches a year prior to this year. He has a more favorable matchup against the Jets also (28th in total defense, 21st against the pass--so I don't know where the other guy's getting his info that the Jets defense is good). However, he does have bruised ribs this week so he's questionable. Given that, I would have to start Miller.

As for starting Drew Brees and McAllister the same week, it's okay. You'll only have to do it this week. It's not always bad. I mean, if you had both Peyton Manning and Edgerrin James last year, would you not play one of them for this reason? Granted that's a different and exaggerated case, but you can live with it for one week.

    Best of luck!

I would start Heath Miller becuase he has been having a pretty good year so far and has showed some flashes of brilliance. Also adding to Heath Miller, the Steelers play the Chiefs and last time i checked the Chiefs defense can barely be called a defense. As for McMicheal he is great but not doing well this year, and the jets have a decent enough defense.

I also agree with the McCallister moove for obvious reasons, the ravens defense is really good!

While you might hate starting a QB and RB on the same team i sitll say go with Brees, he has been having a great year and doesn't show any signs of slowing down. If you were to pick up a QB though i'd go with Leinart.

Brees is a better start than picking up either of those two available....and Duece is on fire right now. I don't like starting two from the same team for competing points, but in your case that's the best option.

Heath is a better start than McMichael in my book. He's more athletic and Ben is having to check down his passes alot more this season.

start brees and mccallister, big deal if they're on the same team as long as they are performing and getting you the points it shouldn't be a problem. miller is better than mcmichael.
