    Just as a tip for using Operating Systems: Wait a few months before buying the new OS, after a few months alot of user reported bugs and problems will have patches available and you'll be able to jump right in with few problems regarding use with applications and other demands.

    I haven't installed Vista yet. I usually wait for the Full release before upgrading my OS. But I believe that a lot of programs won't work to start with Vista you might need to wait couple of months till Vista is officialy released and then we will see more applications for it.
