How did the Twin-Towers steel-core collapse?
If I'm a so-called conspiracy-nut can someone please provide an explanation. The official story explains how the trusses of the towers gave-way and the floors pancaked down on each other. Okay, makes sense, but it doesn't explain what happened to the core. The fire which weakened the steel was at the top of the building (thus weakening the steel at the top only) so how did this cause the entire 110-storey-high steel core to collapse vertically in ten seconds?

It looks like controlled demolition to me. The 9/11 Conmission report, and especially the NIST report ignore the facts regarding the steel core of the building.
One old government report states that
The core columns were box sections fabricated from A36 steel plate and were 36 inches [91.44 cm] x 14-16 inches [35.56-40.64 cm] with plate thickness from 3/4 inch [1.91 cm] to 4 inches [10.16 cm].
So Imagine a pieces of steel 4 inches thick.
Now turn that into a box section 36 inches by 14 inches. That means there is only a 6 inch gap, if we are using 4 inch steel.
It is almost, but not quite, a solid steel piece
36 inches wide and 14 inches thick.
So, you have the idea.
Now, take 47 pieces of steel like that, point them vertically, add cross braces of similar dimensions, and call them the central core. Yes, there were 47 such columns in the central core.
These are the dimensions at the lower floors of the building. Higher up, they came progressively lighter, and eventually used steel ONLY three quarters of an inch thick.
Isn't it amazing how these incredibly strong structures are just not explained in all government analyses of the collapse.
How did they all break into convenient 30 foot long pieces, the equivalent of three floors each?
How on earth could the floors collapse without leaving ANY of this central core sticking up?

The Steel skeleton of importance was on the outside of the structure. this held the floors in place. When the heat of the fire weakend the joints holding the top floors in place they fell, the inertial weight of that on the next floor was enough to break it away from it's mooring posts, then the floors moved down towards the next and so on. The steel outer peeled outwards like a banana skin.
The ability of the posts to break from the steel girders may have been affected by corrosion or may simply have never been designed to take the wight of the impact from the floor above.
The central core was not weight bearing or part of the overall strength, that was in the steel skin's job.

The American government couldn't rescue 200 citizens trapped in a stadium during the New Orleans disaster, despite the mass media constantly calling for an evacuation.
This was a terrible embarrassment for Bush.
A cabinet (or assembly, or whatever Americans call it) that can not even organise such a simple activity as sending helicopters to a stadium, Probably would not have the ability to stage such an incredible illusion as 911.
They're just to incompetent.

the build up of weight and pressure build up as each collapsed floor added to weight and compressed space and overall the heat played a large part in weakening the steels!!!only an original building like Empire state would have stood the impact as it did in the war years when an American bomber flew into 60 something floor

It melted and stretched allowing it to collapse one floor on top of the next increasing the weight and impact on the next floor and next and so on. The core is not self supporting. Like a house of cards once the stability is removed it all collapses. There have been at least a couple of enginnering documentaries on this on A&E and the History channel..

when the plane hit it knocked the buildings making them lean diagonally, the blast of the fuel blew away all the dry wall which aloud the fire to rage and in turn began to melt the steel gurders, with the weight being out of proportion the top toppled bringing the lot down almost like a domino effect. Thas what i understand from it anyway?

Sit there at you computer and detrrmine the force created by the top 20 floors colapsing down on the floors below them. Then as an additional floor colapses how much additional force is created.
Just so you will have a starting point it will be in the hundreds of billions of tons of energy.

Also the fire from inside the building that appeared immediately before the hit..!
If you Fred our British demolition expert , he will surely tell you that building was dynamited from below in a highly controlled way.

I am pretty sure it has to do with buckling and creeping.
I'll let you draw your conclusions from what I have found out.
If you'd like a detailed explanation of buckling, you can go to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckling
And probably more useful...here is an interesting article regarding the collapse of the WTC dealing with creep

iam not interested in the scientifics, engineering of the collapse. i have seen terrorstorm.and iam convinced it was a set up but i knew this before i watched it. what amazes me is why do the ppl allow these corrupt governments to soldier on in there wickedly evil campaigns against the middle east.
