Name of christian country song about a little girl who knows who Jesus is b/c he was with her when her Dad die
I think it came out in 2000, it was on a Now That's What I Call Music album with Breathless by The Corrs, and Wifey by Next.
The little girls dad kills her mom and she was there. She then gets placed in a new, loving family who take her to church. She sees Jesus on the cross and says she knows him but he got off the cross she says. He was with her when her parents died.

The Little Girl, by John Michael Montgomery,That is an awesome song.I get chill pumps when she sees his picture and tells them that he held her when her parents died.

it is called THE LITTLE GIRL by John Micheal Montgomery and i love that song it is so sweet its about the one where her parents are drunks and she was hiding behind her couch and her dad came in with the gun took her mother's wife and then took his own. i love that song but it is so sad at the beginning then at the end it is so good b/c she goes to a new family and they take her to church. and she meets jesus. oh my i love that song so much

diana's right and it is a very touching song. i cried so hard the first time i heard it. john michael montgomery did sing it and it is called "the little girl"

i discover it hilarious that of the 5 previous solutions, not one ought to spell Michael precise. that's "The Little lady" by using John MichAEl Bernard Law Montgomery. EDIT: Aww, somebody edited it later to spell it precise... yet, somebody after me nonetheless manages to spell it incorrect.

I love this song.
"The day my parents died" That song always makes me cry. It so terrible parents can hurt their little babies likte this. :(
