No one city can be called the mouth of India. Either you are into regionalism or you are not aware that Mumbai only contributes 16% of the total GDP of Indian Metro cities, beaten at 19% by Delhi and chased very close by Bangalore at 15%.

If you have seen the slum pockets like dharavi and others in and around the city, you would be calling Mumbai-The slum of India
